1957 Harley Davidson Pan Head

Stephen “ZZ” Phillips is the talented motorcycle enthusiast that has restored this grand 1957 Harley Davidson Pan Head. The Pan Head model was only produced from 1948 to 1965. They are a rare find in the exceptional condition of this bike. ZZ’s Pan Head is painted Black and Blue with the motor painted to match. There is stainless steel and there is chrome but the pans and o-rings are painted, not chromed. The motor was rebuilt by Tete Cycle. It has a primary belt inside, old style tin primary cover and bent pipes. The wheels were machined to use GMA Disk brakes front and rear.

A continuous stream of Harley lovers surrounded this one-of-a-kind bike. The comments ranged from envy to amazement. It is definitely a stop-and-look bike. It is low but sleek, daring but stately, a bike that makes one yearn for a ride with the wind in your face. This warm June Wednesday night at the Southampton Cruise Night was the maiden journey for ZZ on his restored Pan Head.

1977 Harley Davidson Shovelhead FLH

Pete Salvatore has owned his Harley Shovelhead FLH for 23 years. As a kid, he built models. As an adult he builds and rebuilds his Harley Shovelhead. Friends joke with him that he is going to wear out the nuts and bolts but that doesn’t stop Pete from taking it apart one more time. He also enjoys riding it with friends.

This 1977 Harley is Black with Red Pearle. Sunlight brings out the fire in the custom paint. It has a neat custom license bracket and a 88 cu. in. motor that is real peppy. The Shovelhead model was only produced between 1966 and 1984.
