William “Whitey” White has great respect for motorcycles. He feels that you must be defensive when you ride them and have three eyes. Whitey has always been attracted to motorcycles, owning his first street bike, a 650 Bonneville Triumph, at 19 years old. He bought that bike from his cousin. In his youth, he also rode dirt bikes.
Whitey currently rides this striking 95’ Harley Sportster 1200 which he has owned for 7 years. A veteran himself, Whitey has a very special mural, of the Viet-Nam Wall, painted on the tank. The entire bike is custom painted with gold plaited highlights. It also sports a gold plated swing arm, mirror brackets and tail light assembly, wide-glide conversion kit on the front fork and stainless steel braided lines. Both the motor and clutch are stock with a strait pipe exhaust system. A thousand dollar chrome Mag-wheel suites up the front with a stock tire on the back. To complete this bike’s attire, the custom seat, saddle-bag and tool bag are ostrich leather.

Whitey enjoys going to swap meets and bike rallies in Laconia New Hampshire, Daytona Florida and Lake George New York. His goal this year is to ride to the infamous Sturgis North Dakota. Most of all, he enjoys riding with his friends. Some of the spots they travel to are Washington DC during Memorial Day weekend, the Adirondack Mountains and throughout the State of Maine.

For Whitey, the rewards of riding motorcycles are the “feel young” emotions. It is relaxing to him. He rediscovers that wild and free instinctive feeling that is natural in youth.

Hunting, fishing and several other outdoor sports fill much of Whitey’s down time. He also raises Beagle dogs and competes with them at AKC Field Trials. Whitey is a man with many interests.

With pride and enthusiasm, Edward Dane totes this all-original Harley bike to local Cruise Nights. Wherever Edwards shows this Harley, it always draws a crowd because of its authenticity. He has been actively involved with Street Rods since he was a young boy of 12. His Uncle has motorcycles and swayed Edward's interests towards Harleys as a hobby.
