1953 Ford F-100

1953 Ford F-100 Truck

This 1953 Ford F-100 truck sat in the woods for 30 years prior to being rescued by its current owner Tony Morehouse. It was a mess, more rotted than whole. Tony did 100% of the restoration himself, the process taking five years. The motor is 302 cu.in with automatic over-drive. It has an 8.8 rear-end and Mustang II front-end with power rack. The exhaust is dual and brakes are power disc from ECI. Clearly, there have been numerous modifications to the body and chrome yellow exterior. Black/grey cloth are on the interior. This is a show-stopper street rod. Tony built it to use but also brings it to cruise nights and car shows.

1949 Chevrolet Deluxe Sport Coupe

There is no one word to describe the show-stopping beauty of this Toreador Red 1949 Chevrolet Deluxe Sport Coupe. Alfred Roy and his brother, Ed, rebuilt this noble street rod from the ground up. Together, they dismantled the car, separated the body and frame and began the sandblasting process. The entire restoration process spanned over a 3-year period.

Alfred purchased the rotted and all-but abandoned 49 Chevrolet for $950, the exact same price it sold for new in 1949. He had grown-up in the era of this vehicle and much of his desire to restore it was due to nostalgia. His very first car was a 1951 Ford. Alfred enjoys driving his 49 Chevrolet Street Rod, attending cruise nights and entering car shows. His son-in-law often accompanies him.

This beauty of a Street Rod has a Chevy V-8 327cu.in. 350 hp motor, 350 turbo GM transmission, 8” Ford Mustang rear-end and Mustang II IFS front-end. It sports Cragar mags, Firestone tires and dual flowmaster exhaust. The interior is 88 Grand AM red velour. A couple of the finishing touches are frenched headlights and 1959 Caddy taillights.

Alfred has owned this restored Street Rod for 6 years. He enjoys everything about it and is quite confident that he will not outgrow his love for antiquated vehicles.

1928 Ford Roadster

Ken Kostek had a very special goal for the restoration of this 1928 Ford Roadster, his daughters wedding. Ken and his son Ed personally restored this fabulous street rod, over a 3-year period. It is a factory ordered color of brown (rose beige) with brown black fenders and orange pin stripe. Ken special ordered the spoke color in orange to match the pin stripe, as stock color was black. It has a 4cylinder Flathead 200.5cl 40-hp motor, 3 speed stock transmission, stock rear-end and traverse spring front-end. The brakes are mechanical and tires are 400x21 WW. Exhaust is stock and interior is leather.

This street rod has been in Ken’s possession for 38 years. He now brings it to car shows and club events. Ken is a teacher in the Chicopee school system. He also enjoys photography and boating.
