1939 Lincoln Zephyr - Cream and Gold

This low and sleek 1939 Lincoln-Zephyr is owned by Ludlow resident, Dan Czochara. It is a beauty, wearing warm cream and gold colors and wide white wall tires. The motor is 5.0 , automatic transmission, stock rear end, Mustang front end and glasspack exhaust. The interior is leather and paint is Dupont.

It took Dan, and a fellow street rod lover, one year to modify the car. Dan previously owned a 1955 Ford, that is until this 39 Lincoln caught his eye.

1940 Ford Sedan

This majestic 1940 Ford Sedan is a true example of the capability of restoring antique vehicles. Stan Lund owns this dignified street rod.

The polo green Ford has a 454 Chevrolet motor, 400 turbo transmission, 9 inch Ford 3:25 gears and Mustang front end. It sports 4 wheel disc brakes and a flow mastex exhaust. The interior is leather and the paint PDG.

Stan did the body restoration himself, he told me, as he feather dusted the front fenders. It took him 8 years, off and on, to complete the restoration. He has owned it for 12 years.

Street Rods can become an addiction or is it a love relationship? Stan was a member of the Road Knights out of Worcester, Mass at age 16 and he is now 60. He currently attends the New England Summer Nats and Tyrods in Hudson, Ludlow Elks and Marks Cruise Nights with his love, a 1940 Ford Sedan
